A Building Envelope Specialist is a certification given after taking a training course on how to define a homes heating and cooling envelope, diagnose any inefficiencies and being able to develop a correction plan. A traditional home improvement company sells you what they have, which is an incomplete approach to making a home energy efficient.
How much does an Energy Audit Cost?
For a limited time, NESCOR is doing audits for free in order to meet new potential clients. We understand that some homes will not need any work, some will need only a little bit of tweaking(such as air sealing or additional insulation) and some will need a more substantial correction plan. Since we can't tell without performing an audit, we are willing to help out everyone.
Are Tax Credits and Financing available?
All of the energy saving products that NESCOR carries will allow the homeowner a 30% tax credit up to $1500 if installed this year. For the balance, we work with many lending institutions such as FHA and Wells Fargo, to find a monthly payment that will fit any budget. When the tax credit and energy savings are factored in, the project often makes the homeowner money!
"Dear NESCOR: We have heard all the nightmares of home improvements. We are very happy to report this has been just the opposite. It has been a true pleasure dealing with your company and every employee that we have come in contact with."
